An active text message scam is fraudulently claiming to represent tolling agencies from across the country, and requesting payment for unpaid tolls.
If you receive an unsolicited text suggesting it is from EZDriveMA or another toll agency do not click on the link.
EZDriveMA will never request payment by text.

Example of Fraudulent Text Scam
Clues it is fraudulent
- The text includes urgent language, “If you fail to pay…” and “settle your toll immediately” - scammers try to get you to act quickly by including fearful language.
- The web address/domain name before the first single slash (/) is NOT identical to what you find when you go to the official EZ Pass website (). It has extra characters, -tickenz.xin/. Scammers use visually similar web addresses to trick you into visiting their phishing sites, and unwittingly giving them your private data.
What to do if you recieve a text scam
- Do not click on any links in the text.
- Delete the text.
- Go to the official website of your account to verify and pay bills.
- If you clicked any link or provided your information, take efforts to secure your personal information and financial accounts. Dispute any unfamiliar charges.
Please continue to be eagle-eyed, watch out for suspicious texts and emails asking you to click on a link or share personal information.
